2009 Reading: The Year in Review

The writers of this blog managed to read the books listed below in 2009. Since many of the books were read by more than one of us, this list represents well over 100 books reads. Clearly, as in all things, it was the grace of God that helped us work through these books; whether that be the mutual encouragement from each other, the solid backing of the significant people in our lives, or the very affections that motivated the journey. We hope, considering the fact that we are 4 regular guys, that this will encourage you all to pursue God in 2010.

2009 was a joyful ride!

  1. Barna/Viola's "Pagan Christianity" wasn't a stand-alone book. The sequel is called "Reimagining Church", it's the constructive part of the discussion. He also has a new book that's the practical follow-up to both books. It's called "Finding Organic Church." Viola's article "Why I Love the Church" explains the motivation behind all three books. http://frankviola.wordpress.com/2009/08/18/why-i-love-the-church-in-praise-of-gods-eternal-purpose/
